Hi, i am searching for the surname Larmet in the norfolk/ cambs areas

           The main one is Sydney Larmet born 20/11/1889 in the manchester area and died in1974 in wisbech cambs. area.

            I would like to try and find out his parents names :)

I think that this is him in 1901.
Transcribed as Lannet  but definitely Larmet on the original.

    Sydney was the son of a William Larmet so could well be the man.

marriage for William Larmet and Clara Rham 1886 March Qu Holbeach 7a 477

Very interesting, looks like the right Clara, I think the enumerator made a mistake and Clara & children should be down as Larmet and she's Robert's daughter, not daughter-in-law

Well in 1881 Clara is Robert & Jane Rham's daughter, which confirms that the enumerator got it wrong in 1891.

You can look at the 1881 census free on www.findmypast.com or www.familysearch.org
the ref is RG11/1694 fol.112 p.8

hi i am very interested in your communications regarding sidney larmet my great grandfather i have a fair amount of research material if you are interested i know there was a farm at gedney hill were various births occured the move to manchester was for a short period the main occupation in lincolnshire /cambridgeshire .sidney  died and buried in upwell just outside wisbech cambridgeshire he married twice once to a louisa duff producing a only child sidney larmet my grandfather. loisia died 3 years later sidney went one to marry a second time .

Hello again,

       Sydney Larmet was my Grandad and he married Pauline Haycock on his second marrage. He died in 1974 and was buried in Upwell. Second marrage he had 5 children ***  . Does any of this sound familiar to you.

   What is your Dads name as i have some names i cannot place at the moment, they are ***
