I have a few requests with precise details on going, but have found in 1841/51 some more Wilcoxons in various parts London and I don`t know how they fit in. ???
Dates are from about 1790 to 1820, I`m not going to ask for anyone to search registers for me, but if you happen to spot a Wilcoxon anywhere, I`d be pleased to know.
I`m in lovely North Wales and can`t access these myself. :D
Thank you all.

Thanks to you all for this, some I knew about especialy Arthur the Looking glass merchant, but you have given me much more to think about. :)
The will of John Willcoxon is really of interest.
I am trying to link Arthur of Camberwell with Ralph the shoemaker.
Also I think/hope that a Jonathon Wilcoxon fishmonger could be Ralphs brother.
There is a Joseph Willcoxon married Mary Houseman. Later a Mary Willcoxon widow married Thomas Staley. In Raphs will his mother is named as Mary Haley/Staley widow, writing is a bit iffy.
So as you can see I`m trying to sort all this out. Baptism records for Ralph b about 1800 and Jonathon b about 1802 would help but I can`t find them on the IGI.
You may have heard of an actor Henry Wilcoxon ( try Google ) he is a direct descendant of Arthur the glass Mn.
Arthur was a brother to my ancestor. :D :D
Again thank you, and any little thing you come across will be much appreciated.

Edward Owen of Wilcoxon Harding and Owen was an ancestor of mine, he wrote his Will in 1824, Codicil in 1826 and died in 1835, buried at Bunhills Churchyard, London (near John Bunyans grave)
His address at the end of his life was 95 New bond Street, and later his nephew Robert Owen, East India warehouse owner was at that address.
I am descended from Edward Owen's brother Owen Owen of Bala, North Wales.
-
That`s interesting.
Arthur Wilcoxon snr is also buried at Bunhill Fields. Probably lots more of the family as well.
He was very wealthy when he died, but it seems the sons didn`t run the business very well after his death. ;)

Edward Owen left £50 to senior Arthur Wilcoxon as compensation for executing his Will, with a mourning ring, and he left a mourning ring each to Arthur Wilcoxon junior and Robert Wilcoxon, "of Camberwell."
