Does anyone have any information on Francis Timmons who had children in Baillieborough 1835ish, Many thanks

Have you checked LDS catalogue (www.familysearch.org) to see if any church records have been microfilmed as it's too early for civil registration.

francis timmons was my great great grandfather. for details of his family see my response on rose purcell. the 1851 census lists him as a labourer in the clay mill aged 47. his death at the age of 70 at coatbridge/airdrie was registered by his son in law james donnelly in 1868. his father is recorded as john timmons,small farmer(deceased) his mother is named as ellen timmons,maiden name unknown. his family through his son john distinguished itself among the mining community culminating in the election of his great grandson john timmons as labour M.P. for Bothwell 1945-64.
