Hugh McNeillie married Elizabeth McCann, both born in and around Belfast, around 1872-74 not sure exactly. They moved to Scotland assumed they were married in Ireland as can't find any details.
Thank you
-
Did Hugh and Elizabeth have any children in Scotland? Scottish records might give date and place of their marriage.
-
yes they did,but no marriage place.
-
Birth Certificates in Scotland give date and place of parents marriage. :D

weemo
if you can give names of children and years of birth this would help
track them on 1881,1891, and 1901 census
also where they lived or hugh's occupation

Thanks Ev, Haven't been on in a long time. I do have the those census, just waiting on the 1911 coming out in April. Being that they were Irish need to try and get it from over there.

Hi,
You may already have the marriage which you were looking for but, if not, this may be it with slightly different spelling.
16 Mar 1894 Hugh McNELLIE married Elizabeth McCann in Donaghee Church of Ireland, Newtownards. Fathers were John McNellie and James McCann.

thank you,will check that out.

Hello weemo,
I am new to this site. I noticed that one of the family names was Bryden. Are you related to Bryden (poss. Brady) of Donaghadee / Newtownards? I believe Owens Bryden (born about 1805) may have come from that area. Would be pleased to hear from you if there is any information at all.
Regards,
