Can anyone find Starling William Jarrett b. Mattishall 1870/1 - son of John William Jarrett and Sarah Ann Whiterod, not to be confused with his cousin Starling William Jarrett b. Swanton Morley 1870/1 who in 1901 is married to Eliza Beevers.

The Starling I'm looking for was an Assistant Baker living in Barford in 1891, I have all his census details up to 1891, but can't find him in 1901, or his death.

 Thanks for looking,
 Barbara

				hi barbara

this might have nothing to with your starling but

from free bmd starling william jarrett married eliza bevis 3rd quarter 1898
at mitford which could be his cousin
in 3rd quarter 1897 at sculcoates starling williams jarrett marries but
 not too sure who to
i cant find him on 1901 census or any record of his death
i think i found his parents on the 1901 census but for some reason
his father is down as thomas not john
did he have a brother george thomas jarrett ?

				Hi wozzle

				Hi All,

Many thanks for looking for me.  Perhaps I didn't explain properly, but I have all parents and census details - I just needed to find the 1901 census or marriage or death for Starling born Mattishall - I know his parents were Thos.Wm. Jarrett and Sarah Ann Whiterod, his cousin was called Starling also but born Swanton Morley.

Many thanks Wozzle for finding him in 1901, it is the wrong image (and spelling) on ancestry so I've told them about it, but have managed to see it on thegenealogist site, and it's definitely him (age transcribed as 20 but is more like 30 on the image, which would be right).
Thanks also ev for the possible marriage, with those census details I can check on it now, (it was his cousin who married Eliza Beevers)
and thanks, ricky for sorting us all out!!

Another brick wall down  :D :D

				Hi ev,

Yes have just confirmed that with the entry on Yorkshirebmd, Starling W. Jarrett married Elizabeth Jackson at Sculcoates Register Office 1897
so thanks very much for finding that for me
don't know where I've been looking for the last couple of days  ::)

It's interesting that in 1901 he's living in a terrace in Gillett St, Sculcoates, some other members of his family also live in different terraces in the same street, all moved there from Norfolk
