Hi
My ancestors are Edward (Ned) McHale and Margaret McNulty who had their first child Peter baptised in November 1844 at KNockmore when they were shown to be of Toneybane. The family them emigrated to Wrexham, North Wales by 1847. Unable to find a marriage for Edward and Margaret, would love to hear from anyone with an interest in this family.

Hi Heywood
Many thanks for the welcome and the information, it would be great to make a breakthrough although I am delighted to finally have pinned the family down to one small place in Ireland just before they emigrated. As I am hoping to visit Ireland in spring 2008 the timing couldn't have been better. Best wishes, Eve

Hi
Tonybane, on the 1901 census is Tawnaghmore, Kilbelfad. I thought someone might be interested in contacting this lady in Australia, her name is jean and shé decended from the McHales from Tonybane. Her address is, (*)..I´m sure she´d love to hear from anyone with connections with this family. I have been helping her for sometime but to actually make contact with family members would be very nice for her. Thanks
Patrick.

My dad was Edward Joseph McHale, great grandson of the Edward McHale who married Mary McNulty and left to go to Wrexham. (Son of John Edward b.1881/son of Edward McHale b.1854/son of Edward McHale b. 1821. My dad died in 1961 when I was 7 and my mum Gwendolyn McHale (née Langley) lost touch with the McHale family. Now that I have retired I have made it my aim to find out more about my dad's family. I only found out last night about Edward and Margret and Peter coming from Tonebane. Please get in touch. I would love to hear about the McHales past or present. Many thanks Minda Lynn McHale.
