Post by: jcass on Friday 09 November 07 16:06 GMT (UK)
I have found records at Proni for a 1st Omagh Presbyterian Drumragh. After searching I can find a 2nd Omagh which is now Trinity in John Street can anyone tell me anything about 1st Omagh Drumragh. Looking for information about the church from around 1870 onwards.
Thanks J

According to A History of Congregations in the Presbyterian Church in Ireland 1610-1982: First Omagh- "A congregation of Omagh was formed in the 17th century from the earlier one of Cappagh known as Drumraw and Longfield. It was erected in 1676 and a meeting house built about Crevenagh."
The LDS don't seem to have any microfilmed records from any Presbyterian Church in Omagh in their catalogue.

Hello jcass,

A snail mail to the minister at 1st Omagh might produce a result. http://tinyurl.com/6zo9ym
