Can anyone help me to get started on tracking down some of my Smith ancestors who went to Chile sometime between 1881 and 1900.  Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

this is a very old post, however if helps ... I had an uncle in Victoria, Chile; his mother was a Smith.

Pls. answer if this is stil relevant.
