Toni, I found these three on familyhistoryonline. I couldn't check any further as I ran out of credit.
01/02/1807 Thomas MITCHELL Father's Name William MITCHELL Mother's Name Elizabeth MITCHELL Hellingly St Peter & St Paul
19/04/1807 Thomas MITCHELL Father's Name Thomas MITCHELL Mother's Name Mary MITCHELL Parish Cuckfield Holy Trinity
14/07/1811 Thomas MITCHELL Father's Name John MITCHELL Mother's Name Mary MITCHELL Parish Chailey St Peter
This is the only marriage found on the SMI in Warbleton between 1780-1810 for Mitchell.
Warbleton, East Sussex, 25 May 1795:
Alexander Taylor MITCHEL
Elizabeth EASTWOOD, botp (B)
With a name like Mitchell I think sooner or later you're going to have to get that marriage certificate :(

thanks for looking,
how would i be certain that one of the Mitchells on familyhistoryonline is mine? (without the marriage cert.?)
i can be a bit more certain with Ann Matilda as i can also look for her siblings bapt. and cross check the parents
what is / was the local church at Warbleton?

Hi toni
The parish church at Warbleton is the Church of St Mary the Virgin. There is also the Heathfield Independent Chapel which is literally just up the road and according to the Sussex OPC http://www.sussex-opc.org/ a Mount Hermon Strict Baptist Chapel.
It might be worth contacting the OPC for Warbleton, I've just had contact with him and found him extremely helpful and he has loads of parish records.

Just a 'heads up' everyone as I discovered that there is;
WARBLETON in East Sussex & WALBERTON in West Sussex. I had gone to the OPC site but had looked at the latter which hasn't got someone covering it ::)
