has anyone got a street directory for dublin from 1875 to 1914.
looking for the name dowson.

I did a search In Thom's Directory for 1884 (courtesy of Archive CD Books) but unfortunately there were no Dowsons shown. That is not to say they weren't there, just not far enough up the greasey social pole to be noticed - like my family!

Hi Angela,
Thoms Directory is unlike the Belfast and Ulster directory as it don't make life easy by having an alphabetical section. There's a street section which does show who lives at what number in each street but it would be extremely time consuming to find Dowson. If you had a partial address it would help.
