Please can someone have a look for the following family. I only know a few of the dates and am trying to get some idea of the rest!

Linda-The John and Sarah you found in 1841 are (I think) the parents of the John I need - so very useful info.
Geoff- The Isaac aged 54 is the younger brother of John so it narrows down his age a bit.
It looks like I'm circling them at the moment! I shall see if I can find anything else that will help locate them.

Could the Sarah Carter be Isaac's sister Sarah Ann after she had married, or an aunt?
From 1851 Witham:

My head is now spinning with Poultons :D
John and Mary Poulton are very important to me as they are (probably) my direct line twice over - two of their grandchildren married each other and their daughter was my grandmother! My line goes through their son Isaac and their daughter Emma. I have confirmed on both their marriage certificates that their father's name was John Poulton, but have yet to confirm their mother. I was hoping that if I found them on the 1841 census they may all still be together, as by 1851 they were both married. Obviously it looks as though Isaac had already left home but I'm still hoping to tie in Emma.
Emma married Joseph Philbrick (also spelt Philbrook/Philbrock) in 1849. You've already given them to me in 1851 in Maldon and it doesn't throw up any clues! (The Philbrick's being another complicated saga altogther!)
I don't know where Sarah Carter fits in yet. Isaac's sister Sarah Ann was (I think) younger than him and his aunt Sarah was older than Sarah in the census, unless there's another I don't know about yet.
I think I'm going to have to try and get hold of the Hatfield Peverel parish records to try and sort this lot out. ::) Linda - I'll let you know if I manage to get them and I'll look up yours!

Well, if you're not in any hurry you are a very lucky gal ;)
I have on extended loan the Hat Pev pr's at my local LDS centre. Only thing is I don't get there too often, so you will have to be patient.
Please let me know if you want me to look for Poulton's in the pr's or if you will be doing it yourself.
The pr's on the film I have on loan cover from the 1600's to the 1900's, but baptisms 1837 to 1860 are missing! >:( They are available at the ERO though, if you have the opportunity to ever go there.
