The Email I received just this evening makes all the searching of Census entries, and BMD indexes seem worthwhile. It was from someone I didn't know existed before last week, and she said to me in her message that I am her only living relative on her Mother's side of the Family.Of course unknown to her,she has quite a tribe now of living relatives, that I was more than happy to point out by sending her details of my Webpage!

How wonderful !! What a lovely piece of news.

Christmas has come early for her! She's going to have fun learning about her "new" relatives.

Tell me about it, I've managed to put my mother in touch with a cousin of hers - they never knew that either side existed because neither parents spoke of that side of the family or didn't get the chance to.
They get on like a house on fire and it's been really great to bring some of those names and dates to life with this person's information!

William - great news, you must be delighted - all that hard work of yours has paid off. :) Well done.

Congratulations to William and scottcharles! Indeed, it is a wonderful outcome when you can put family members in touch with each other, when they didn't know of each other's existence!

Very well done :D
At the very least, this mad hobby shows that we are not alone in this world :)
I hope that some friendships and bonds are created through your hard work :)

I don't know about the "hard work",the best thing I've found is luck!

Congratulations William and scottcharles. I think finding the living just as exciting as finding the dead, and have learned so much from the ones I have found, as well as making some wonderful friends.
