Are there any Beechey marriages listed please for the early 1700's?  In particular Walter and William.

Walter Beechy from Witney married Elizabeth Gilbert also from Witney. They married at Shipton under wychwood 30th May 1721.


William Beechy from Fulbrook married Anne Smith from Astalleigh. They also married at Shipton under wychwood 18th February 1719.

Dear Toby,

Thank you very much for this information.  Sorry I haven't replied before, but I haven't logged on until now.   It is very helpful to me as it is possible that Walter may be my direct descendent, and I am now looking outside of Witney, where most of my family are from, to find marriages.

Just have to try and puzzle out if he is one of 'mine'! :D
