Hi all.
Recently discovered my great grandmother is buried here so in the next couple of weeks, weather permitting, I am going to take a look for her grave.
If anyone else has ancestors that they KNOW are buried there, give me the details and I'll have a look and take photos and MI.
Depending on the response I get, I MIGHT open my search for people that are only possibly buried there.
PLEASE DON'T WASTE TIME POSTING GUESSES FOR THE TIME BEING. I will not respond.

Hi Daval57 , I have only just seen your post , so may have missed the boat.
Have you been to Sighthill Cemetery?
I have several family members buried there - viz. 1855 - died 1 jan - aged 9 mths - Euphemia McColl Blair
1859 - died 7 Feb - aged 2 1/2 yrs - James Hislop
1860 - died 3 Nov - Euphemia Blair ( ms Campbell) - aged 29 yrs
I have no doubt there would be other Hislop family members buried there but have no details at this time. As I live in Australia , it is unlikely that I could go to look for myself , so I shall wait to hear from you,
Regards, Thommoje

Dave,
Will be interested to find out how your trip to Sighthill Cemetery pans out. I have family members who I know are buried there, and many who I think will be there also and I am keen to make a trip along the M8 to investigate further. The size puts me off as I don't have any lair nos etc, also I'm a bit of a scardy cat when it comes to searching throughout it's vast size on my own!
By the way, explored your website and was very impressed.

I'll be posting all / any results I get on the site.
Send me details in an email of the folk you're interested in. As I'm looking for other folk anyway, I might as well add your people to the list.
IF I find them, I can give you the location to save you as much effort.
I've sent you a PM.
