I have a place name in Isle Abbots called:
'Greus??', Ile Abbots (Isle Abbotts)
It could be a farm e.g. Greus Farm or a house with the same name.
Can anyone locate this on the 1901 census?
It should be the home of an apple farmer with the name Priddle.
Thanks

Hello
Have you seen this web site www.isle-abbotts.org.uk they have parish records, census etc on there perhaps there might be something to help you.

Thanks for the link wend66.
I don't think they are too involved in local records as the links are to other people's efforts. I've dropped them an email just in case they have a local historian or someone with local knowledge. It's worth a try.

Altho linked to Curry Rivel, it has its own enumeration Dist (#8) and has only 9 pages .... no sign of your placename or individual. :(

Thanks for looking Newf.
I suspect this particular Priddle is an outsider and moved in from Curry Mallet which seems to contain a large group of Priddles.
