Hello,
I would appreciate it if anyone could please help to find Frederick Jenkins in the 1841 census. He should be about 17 (born about 1824) but age might have been rounded down to 15 (i.e born about 1826 I think).
In 1851 he was living in St Pancras aged 27, married and was a Journeyman Pianoforte maker. Place of birth looks like Southwrk Boro???
In 1861 he was living Parish St Pancras, Ward of Tottenham, Parliamentary Borough Marylebone aged 37 and was a Pianoforte (SmallWork??) maker, born Surrey NK. He had a boarder living there called Mary A Jenkins, unmarried, aged 31 and a teacher of Piano - might have been a sister or other relation?
He died before 1871.
I'm hoping that his occupation might give a clue towards finding out where he was and who he was with in 1841.
Many thanks for any help.
Regards
Anne

There's is another pianoforte maker called Jenkins or Jenkin
Henry Jenkin born about 1800 in Gloucester Street St George the Martyr in 1841. Married Rhoda. In the 1851 census he says he was born in Cornwall.
Perhaps there is a connection
