Regt No: 7123
Born: Shankhill, Co Antrim
Enlisted: Belfast
Died: 22/07/1916
Died How: Died of Wounds

Hope this is of some help.

And, incase you want to see his medal index card:

They cost £3.50 to download a sheet of 6, so you'd get Robert's and some others with similar names.

thankyou for checking would he have got a penson I am trying to find out if he was married my gran never talked about it to painful she lost 3 brothers in the war thankyou again

If he is described as died of wounds it means he was still serving and hence would not have received a pension. You can check to see if his MC mentions a SWB (Silver War Badge). He should have received one if he was discharged to pension. There may be a second card for any SWB or it will be on his main card.
BTW there is a pensions file on Ancestry for a Robert Greer in the RIF born in Shankill. He was discharged as being unsuitable after 30 days in Sept 1914. His medical mentions he was slightly knock kneed, but it does not state a specific problem. It is unlikely that it is the same man. This man had a wife called Hannah and three children.
