any info on how to  find a birth record or marriage record for caherciveen
CHRISTOPHER STEPHEN O'SHEA BORN  1893 IN CAHERCIVEEN COUNTY  KERRY
SON OF MICHAEL BORN CAHERCIVEEN AND MARGARET NEE O'REILLY BORN SCARIFF
CHRISTOPHER MARRIED  MARIA JANE CADDEN  BORN 1894 IN GRANARD COUNTY LONGFORD

Cahersiveen is a townland and a Parish in Co. Kerry (Poor law Union- Cahersiveen, Barony- Iveagh, Province- Munster). Cahersiveen townland approx. 255 acres.

There are Granard townlands in Co. Longford & Co. Limerick but Granard doesn't seem to be a townland or Parish in Co. Kerry.

mrs o;shea was my greataunt on the cadden side of the family. i  lived in manchester in the 1960 as a little girl with my mum and dad both gone now.  i have sent a post on your cadden side of roots chat.
