Title: Thomas Frith 1774
Post by: yorkshiremags1 on Sunday 07 October 07 20:39 BST (UK)
I am trying to find the birth place of Thomas Frith 1774. He married Amy Brittlebank 1801 in Eyam. The only one I can find is a Thomas born in Hathersage. Does anyone have access to parish registers or any info to see if this is the one.

Hi,

I can't help you with Thomas, but you might like to take a look at my web pages and search the database, I have a number of Frith individuals, and also a number of Brittlebanks.

Hope you find something of use.

Cheers

Thankyou very much for your reply. The information I have so far is=
IGI-  Thomas Frith, spouse Amy Brittlebank. Banns: 16th Feb 1801 Eyam Derbys.

There is no trace of a Thomas born in Eyam 1774 but I have found one in Hathersage born to Benjamin/Ann Frith July 10th 1774.
I was told that young men went to the village of their intended and lived there so as to marry in that parish. I do appreciate your help and hope you can connect this. Regards Margaret
