Title: M.E.O.T. - anyone know what it stands for?
Post by: StefJC64 on Saturday 06 October 07 22:31 BST (UK)
Looking at some marriage records, they have "both of M.E.O.T." after the signatures. Does anyone know what it stands for?
Thanks, Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,

If it is London then it is Mile End Old Town.

Nanny Jan, Ludovica and Ruskie,
Thanks a lot. Yes, it was London, and makes perfect sense now!
