Title: 1881 Census Query
Post by: Peter Walker on Tuesday 21 December 04 21:39 GMT (UK)
Could someone please check the census microfilm for Annie B Walker daughter of Robert T Walker of Theatre Road, Wells Next The Sea (Film 1341479 Piece 1988 Page 15) and let me know where Violet was born? The Mormons transcription says Great Hillingworth, Durham but I can find no trace of this place and suspect it has been misread. Also was Violet born at Leaham, Durham or should it be Seaham?

It's pretty bad writing! I thought there was possibly a W before the *illingworth word ...except it doesn't look like the others on the page. I'll send a bit of it to your mailbox Peter so you can have a look for yourself.
