Post by: AMW on Friday 28 September 07 20:49 BST (UK)
Hi everyone,

Does anyone know what information is on a marriage
entry for a 1813 marriage at Tynemouth Christ Church
other than the Bride & Grooms names? does it give fathers names or occupations etc.i am trying to find out before possibly travelling far to find it.

Regards

Andrew Watson

When I looked up a marriage at Woodhorn, for my 4x gr parents in 1818 in Newcastle, all it said were the names of bride and groom and 2 witnesses. No mention of fathers!

Andrew, have you looked at  the Family search site. That might give one or both parents if it is on there. also you could put who you are looking for on this site as some one might just have the info you seek. Dolly
