Title: Alangeo1 update

Hi as many of you know Alan has had a rough year and has not been online for some time now,
I always pass on the good wishes from chat but not everyone i see in chat so for those I miss out seeing i thought i would let you know via the boards,
On Wednesday Alan Was addmitted into the hospice here in Dunoon for respite , to sort his medication , and build him up a bit, he has the past 2 days been eating a little better, and started giving me a bit of cheek, despite being in a lot of pain he never complains.
I will keep you posted to how he is doing
It looks very unlikly that we will be at the Glasgow meet and he is extremely disapointed about this.
but it is more important that he makes a good recovery.
As yet we have not had any word on the tests he has had in the past week

I would like to thank you all for your good wishes , paryers and positve thought it has given us both such strength

Late this afternoon Alan and I were given the results of the bone scan, I am sad to say they are not good, and Alan Has asked me to tell you all he holds all his fellow chatters in very him regards, and that he has decided to apply for cheif clarks job, and said he will do his best to sort the brick walls and help make the documentation be in the right place, and do his upmost to help with the reseach, he has missed you all and has missed being with you in chat,

I spent the night at the hospice last night , as goosey may have told you all,
Alan said to let you know, his fist job as Clerk will be to get the paper work all in order and sort out some of these ancestor for you,
Goose he said if ours are on the witness protection list he sort them out for you and see who else's are hidding there
He sends you all his love and said to let you know i will have a very special message for you all probably toworrow,  :-X until then

Dear all

Sybil has just rung me to say that Alan's condition has seriously deteriorated and that the doctor has asked her to prepare for the worst. The family are travelling to Dunoon today to be with them both.

As soon as I have more news I will update everyone.

For now I am sure they will be in all our thoughts and prayers.

Dear all

Alan's condition has worsened today but he's still hanging on in there. I'm very very sad to say that the prognosis is really not good so we need to prepare for the worst.

Sybil has asked me to thanks everyone for all your love and good wishes to them both.

Will update further when have more info

Dear all

Sybil has just rung me to say Alan is back in the hospice. His heart defib fired off in the early hours so he has been taken in. Sybil is not sure if he will be coming back home but he seems comfortable being there.

She said she's ring me later and give me update.

Update

Sybil rang me earlier to say they are going to switch off Alan;s heart defib because it keeps firing and each time does isn't pleasant at all for him.

Docs have said it should let him slip away peacefully.

I wish I had better news!

Hi agha

Is not problem hun. I really am lucky to have them as such good friends. heart is breaking  tho that one of them may be gone soon.

They are both absolutely made up with the messages that have been coming in . They are giving them strength.

Sybil has asked me to tell everyone who has posted how much it means to them both. She had a peeps this morning. Keep em coming chatters!

Tough times ahead but we're a family so we'll get thru!
