Looking for information on a Helen Manson, connected to Kate Chalmers Flett (born in Findochty 1896 - my Grandmother on my mother's side).

I am researching the Flett line and Helen Duncan (nee Manson), - the daughter of Margaret Manson (nee Flett) - I believe, is my Grandmother's (Kate Chalmers Flett) sister's (Margaret Manson) daughter.  I suspect she may be in her 80's and has 2 other children Jack and Will

By the sounds of it Helen Duncan (nee Mason) may still be alive given she looks to have been born c.1927. As such, you need to take care as what info is provided on the open forum. Maybe anybody providing more detail can do so by PM?

Hi,

This may be a bit late but I have information on Helen Manson and her family.

Helen Sutherland Manson was born on 13th May 1916 at 39 Bryson Road in Edinburgh and died on 10th July 2000 at Liberton Hospital in Edinburgh. Helen's parents were John Manson and Margaret Flett; Margaret came from Findochty although she was originally born in Wick (not quite sure why as it appeared that she lived the majority of her younger years in Findochty - she even married there).

Helen Manson had three siblings - George Angus Manson, John Flett Manson and William Sutherland Flett Manson (all now deceased). Please let me know if you'd like any more information.

I am however trying to find more information on Margaret Flett's sister, Katie Chalmers Flett. I know she emigrated to Australia in the early 1920s and I have her marriage, but I'm not sure if they had any children - I know they didn't have any in Scotland.
