Post by: joxer42 on Saturday 22 September 07 13:10 BST (UK)
Hello
I wonder if someone is in possesion of the Kinneff mort cloth registar to look up to see if JAMES  FREEMAN ( Farm Servant) and his wife ANN who were married in Dunnottar in 1776.

All their children were born in KINNEFF.

It so happens that I'll be visiting Stonehaven Library shortly to do some research and will look-up the Kinneff & Catterline Deaths/Mortcloth entries.  They run from 1641-1662 and 1737-1846.

I was thinking of going down to Stonehaven to have a look at the K&C Mortcloth Register. Are there any other Mortcloth Registers for inspection i.e. Fordoun, Glenbervie, Arbuthnott etc.?
