that would be plodder lane , plodder lane is a  main road that runs through farnworth and is still in existance today it runs for a few miles and is busy , many of the old houses are still there

I don't know if it is any interest to you but my Aunt Olga (nee Barter) married a Nuttall whose first name I don't remember (Harry, maybe?), and had a daughter named Denise (also lost from me).  They divorced early.  But what caught my eye was that Olga (b 1925 d 2001) lived on Plodder Lane in Farnsworth, Bolton.  If anyone can write more I would be intrested in the Nuttall's or the Barter's.
