Title: A man with a big nose - on the Ancestry census!
Post by: aussiegalx on Sunday 16 September 07 06:54 BST (UK)
I was looking for an elusive Almon SNELL in 1871, and some transcribers must really have a sense of humor.

These are some I found

A foreigner
A Man Stept Hame Unk
A gent
Not Known A Male Person Age About
A man
A woman (plenty of these, a man and a woman lol)

But the BEST ONE is this
A Man With A Big Nose

So if you are looking for a man born in about 1831 in Stockport, Lancashire, England.. now in Dent Yorkshire, it could be yours! lol

 :D :D ;D ;D
