Hi,
Recent new line in my family tree has led me to the Pendlebury family from Radcliffe. It has enabled me to go very quickly to James Pendlebury c1782 and possibly a Richard Pendlebury c1787. The descendents of James stayed in the Radcliffe area for most of the next century but I think Richard moved to Yorkshire. Can anyone shine any light on this family or any of the descendents? All help appreciated.

Hi Maria,
That was brilliant! :) Massive help! The name James certainly was popular for the Radcliffe Pendlebury's. I will pass this on to some of my contacts also researching the same name. Thanks again.

Hi Lynn,
I have come across quite a lot of Pendlebury's from the Wigan/Leigh/Hindley area but as yet cannot find a common link between these and the Radcliffe Pendlebury's, if of course there is one! I even found a researcher looking for a William Pendlebury who was a bandmaster of Wingates Band c1900, ironic as it is 100 yards from my front door! If I can provide any info please yell.

Dear Sophomax I know it is four years since you initiated this string but I have just come across it through a Google search.
I am currently researching Ann Pendlebury from Radcliffe. According to my records Ann was born on 29 May 1790. She married a Joseph Barron in St Mary Radcliffe Church on 7 April 1815. Joseph was a factory owner and they moved to Mexborough, South Yorkshire. She died in 1854 in Mexborough.
I am particularly inerested to know whether Ann had a brother named Thomas who was born in Radcliffe Bridge Bridge in 1812?
If this is the same family then I would be very much obliged if you could let me know of any details of her family and Ancestry.
Thanks for any thing which you can do.
