Title: Marriage lookup - Ontario (probably Toronto)

I wondered whether there was any possibility of finding a marriage of my great aunt, Marie Lauper, to Maurice Parkins some time between 1923 and 1927 almost certainly in Toronto.

From shipping passenger lists I know that they both emigrated to Canada in 1923 and that they were married when they returned to the UK in 1927.

Any help at all appreciated.

Hello John,

Ontario marriages are available up to 1925 with a new year added each year.   If they married after 1925 you would have to order a marriage certificate directly from the Province and explain why you are entitled to the same (pain, but that's what they do now)

I have to go to the library this week where marriages to 1925 are free to view and if no one has found something by then, I will take a look.
