oh and i thought i would let everyone know that the man who did the kilsyth web site above also published a fantastic series of book on kilsyth and it people with all his pictures in it they r called faces and places of kilsyth and they r great if you contact kilsyth library they may still have copies

since i am new on here i thought i would tell u all what i am looking for someone might be able to help, although i have been doing this for a long time so i have many names and branches to my huge tree but my main names that i am looking for are O'RAW, HYNES, DAVIDSON AND CRERAR. so if anyone has any info or needs help with any of these names just send me a post i am always happy to share

I have just discovered the O'Raw family among my in-laws.
The names are James O'Raw married Margaret Donnelly in the early 1800's or earlier. They had a daughter named Rose who married a William Kelter in Glasgow.
I found Richard O'Raw,pawnbroker in Kilsyth but not sue if there is any relation.
