This is really a shot in the dark.
I'm looking for service info of Cornelius Curran who was a munitions carrier during the Boer War. He was originally from the Carlisle area before joining and then settled in the US after returning from South Africa.
Like I said, a shot in the dark.

Hi Izabel,
Thanks for your help. I'll see what I can find using this info. However, Trooper seems to be an unusual rank for the Artillery. One would normally find Gunners while Trooper is more in tune with the Armoured or Cavalry.
Thank you,
Ian
