Title: Lancashire Militia
Post by: IanShalapata on Tuesday 04 September 07 23:10 BST (UK)
Would anyone have access to the muster rolls or other such information for the Lancashire Militia for Lancaster between 1803 and 1810? I am in search of a Robert Lighttallars, with various similar sounding spellings, who was a substitute in said militia for John? Sutcliffe although Robert was living in Carlisle at the time he joined. There are petitions for suport of his wife and child in Carlise that were heard at various quarter sessions in Lancaster. As his wife re-married in 1808 I believe Robert died while in service.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ian
