Title: Carter Family Omagh, Tyrone

Researching Carter family from Omagh in Tyrone.  Richard Carter bc1815 37th Reg of Foot married to Mary Sherry.  Their son Richard bc1841 married Mary Higgins and two of their children are on IGI, Patrick b1865 and Richard b1869.  Other children include Mary bc1856, Annie bc1858 all born in Omagh.  Another daughter Maggie born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1874.

Dear Christopher,

Good point, I will remember to include that detail in all my future postings.  They are Roman Catholics.  I have the Carter family in Port Glasgow Scotland for the 1881 census and they all lived their lives there except Patrick 1865 who disappeared between the census.  Thanks for your reply,
