Title: AYRES of Pertenhall
Post by: sunkeeper on Tuesday 28 August 07 12:30 BST (UK)
Looking to share information on the line of Jacob Ayres, son of William Ayres and Ann Webb of Pertenhall.  He married Martha Thomson and had at least 2 sons, Lewis and Jacob.

Victor and Brenda, Are either of you aware of any connections to the Ayres and harvery families in Cambridgeshire? I have both names in my mother's tree from the 19th century and earlier.

The only Cambridge connection was Sarah Smith from there who married Lewis Ayres, they lived in Pertenhall after the marriage.  I don't have any Harvey's in my data base, sorry.

I'm sorry, but my HARVEYs hail from Guiting Power in the Cotswolds, Glos.
I am only doing lookups which I hope will be helpful?

Thanks for responses, looks as though any connection is lost in the mists of time, if indeed it ever existed.
