Title: Sealy
Post by: jenph on Monday 20 August 07 14:42 BST (UK)
I am looking for relatives of Elizabeth Kate Sealy born c.1971.  She married William John Boyd December 1903 and had my father William George Boyd in 1909.  She was killed in 10 Percy Street, in the Belfast Blitz on 16 April 1941.

Hello Jenny,

It's hard to tell where Elizabeth Kate may have been born. John Hayes failteromhat.com website shows the greatest number of families with the Sealy surname were in Co. Cork and Co. Kerry with some more families in a few other counties. She probably moved to Belfast to find work once she'd left school.

Hi Christopher

Thank you for your information.

I have recently been told by my brother that Elizabeth Kate Sealy may have come from Bristol but this has not been confirmed.  My father came to Bristol when he moved to England in the 1930s apparently he had relatives there.  It is very frustrating that he never told us anything about her or his relatives.
