Hi
Can someone help me find my husbands grandfather and his family.
His name was Raymond James Duffy - he was a L/Sgt in the Lincoln and Welland regiment of the Canadian army. He died in France in August 1944 aged 27. He married Winifred Bowles in Brighton, England in 1943 - they had a daughter (my MIL) in April 1944.
The only information I have about him is from the Canadian War Memorial site. They say that his parents were called Andrew and Elizabeth and that his service number was G/22690.
This is all I know. I don't even know where in Canada they are from but am assuming Ontario because of his army regiment.
Any help, information, pointers would be gratefully received.

According to the report on casualties in the Toronto Star, he was from White Rapids, New Brunswick. If you would like a copy of the page, send your email through a "Personal Message" to me and I will send it through to you.
This could be his father in the 1911 Census.
