Title: Holt School, Jardine Hall, Lockerbie

As part of a larger area of research I'm trying to locate details of this school which has been closed quite a while.
I know it existed in the 1950 / 1960's.
It had a Johnstone Bridge phone number I think.
Anyone any information please?

I was a pupil at Holt School during it's final Year at Jardine Hall and moved with the School when it re-located to Whittinghame House near Haddington.

What is it that you would like to know?

I too, are looking into Jardine Hall... tho i have only just discovered  it later became a school... I have recently found that via marriages, Lady Helen Jardine, daughter of Sir William Jardine was raised at Jardine Hall (it being there family home) and are trying to find pictures of the hall, and of other buildings on its estate (I believe there were other houses etc on the site? a lodge, stable block etc...)

If anyone has any photos I would love to see them! the only place I have found any, is a site where I have to buy them :(

There certaily were other buildings, the stable block was adjacent to the House, and there vere various outbuilding and at least one gate house, not forgetting The Tower.

Any photos I have will be from when it was a school (if I can find them) I'll have a hunt and see what I have.
