William Beaven (later known as Biffin) - born about 1792 - married Elizabeth Stokes in 1824 at Heytesbury and had three children, Jane, Charles and George while living at Tytherington, before the family left for Canada in 1830.
William was an agricultural labourer and probably worked on the A'Court properties in the area. I have been unable to find an origin (e.g., baptism) for either William or Elizabeth in the area so I'm thinking they might have moved from another part of Wiltshire or further afield. I haven't located them on the IGI or on any other record. Can someone suggest another path for me to take in tracking them down?
Thanks, Ken

Have you seen the christening for William Beaven, son of William Beaven and Jane, in West Lavington, Wiltshire 29 July 1792.
It is an IGI extraction. Batch #C058221
