Title: Marriage look up KITE / YOUEL
Post by: Tracybb on Saturday 18 August 07 17:47 BST (UK)
Hi I am looking for my grandparents marriage.

I have little firm information but I will give you what I know...

Norman KITE b.1902 Aston
Evelyn Mary YOUEL b.1906 Chapletown, Yorks.

I am fairly sure they would have married in Solihull.
My Dad was born in Jan 1936 & I believe Norman had been posted by the RAF over seas... So I am guessing they would have married before 1936.

Also they devorced around 1942. How do I go about finding more info?

Thanks for all help

Hello Tracybb
Searched the full indexes for Kite/Kyte 1831-37 & Youel 1934-36 but there is nothing.Do you have their divorce papers?
Why do you believe they were married in Solihull?
Regards Jim

Hi Jim

Thanks for your help. This is one of those family things where poeple stopped talking to each other about 'such things'.
Basically I have no information about the marrage at all. I can only guess at a date from when my Dad was born.

I know Norman & family were all born in & lived in the area for quite sometime.

Thanks

Tracybb
