Hi Catherine,
Do you have any info on Annie Woods, buried in Deansgrange about 1970.
Thanks

Hi Catherine
Thanks for the very kind offer. I am searching for James O'grady born Tipp died Dublin 1949 and his wife Annastasia O'Grady (Furlong) died about 1937 maybe a couple of years
earlier.
Also searching for Mary Kate Harris (Blaney) born Wexford died Dublin around 1962.
My information is a bit sketchy - sorry

What's happening on this thread ??? Three queries and no replies ??? Did you guys receive PMs containing the information you required? If you're still looking for information Blackrock Library (http://www.dlrcoco.ie/library/br.htm) should have a few copies of "The Inscriptions of Deansgrange Cemetery" and be able to do a look up for you.

Hi Christopher,
Thanks for checking back with me - you must be doing some spring cleaning!
I managed to find the actual grave I was looking for and read the headstone myself, but since then I have discovered that there is another grave in there somewhere "belonging to me".

Thanks for that link Anne.
I was involved in an incident where umpteen families appeared on the one thread on another site recently. I like Rootschat policy of a thread of messages relating to one family being researched posted on the boards rather than Free Look Up offers and cumbersome threads where it is almost impossible to follow who is getting what information. It's more difficult for others who are assisting in the search of one family on that board and find a piece of information about that family to make a post on such a thread ... their message usually appears after several more queries and messages containing information about several other families and that can annoy some of us including me.
My thoughts expressed on the Dublin Directories thread (http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=9107.msg1226093#msg1226093) may be one way to overcome such problems.

Hello Christopher
thanks for the reply, I hadn't heard anything to be honest it went completely out of my head, so thanks for the nudge. The information on Blackrock library could prove very useful, I will get in touch with them. I will be in Dublin in August so hopefully will be able to go and take a look at Deansgrange, hopefully the library will be able to point me in the right direction. Thanks again
Carol
