I've just discovered another convict in my tree. Tried at Clare 25 Feb 1834 and sentenced to death -  comuted to transportation, arriving in Australia on the Blenheim in 1834.

Mention was made at the trial of his uncle Michael McHENRY 10 years previously which I assume meant that he was also convicted of a crime.

Australian records indicate that his uncle was actually called Michael McINERHNY of the village of LISDEEN in the Parish of Kilfeareagh.

A search of the Tithe Appointment Books for 1820-1840s shown both the SULLIVAN and the McINERHNY names in the Kilfeareagh parish.

Would like to contact anybody with connection to these names.

 With thanks,
 Gail
