Title: 1881 look up Mary Jane Williamson - Billinghay

I am trying to locate Mary Jane Williamson born circa 1877 Billinghay Lincs in the 1881 census to find who her parents were.

I have her as a servant working for my nan's g grand uncle John Olive about 1890's then marrying my nan's grand uncle Mr Benjamin Brooks in Jun 1897 in Billinghay.

There is a Jane Williamson on the 1881 census with parents Richard & Lizze but she is age 9. making her b. 1872 hmmm

i searched the 1871-1873 birth index for a Jane Williamson b. Lincoln but there were none. hmmm

do you know if your Mary Jane had any siblings we can look for?

I suppose the best way to find out who her father was is to get the marriage certificate, then we will be able to track back on the census

Polly is a standard nickname for Mary, so that entry seems a real possibility.
Her (possible) unmarried mother, Betsy, remained unmarried all her life.
