Hi - not sure if anyone can help, but am trying to locate absent voters list for manchester and eastbourne, to look up Frank Purcell.

I think a main Library in the relevant area should have a copy .........

As far as I know there are no surviving Absent Voters Lists for East Sussex.  I have made extensive enquiries in the past at the East Sussex Record Office who have always denied knowledge of its existence - unless of course they have made any new discoveries in the last year or so...  ::)

West Sussex is wonderful, with complete lists for 1918 and several subsequent years held at the West Sussex Record Office, Chichester.
