I don't know what you are looking for exactly on this forum but if you want to research Thomas then the best place to start is by ordering his birth cert from the Irish GRO...

http://www.groireland.ie/apply_for_a_cert.htm

You can order the cert by post, paying by credit card. You should indicate that you want a photocopy and the cost will be €6.

When you know Thomas' parents then you can look for their marriage cert (IGI indexes to find the reference then order from GRO). Then after that you could look for your people on the 1911 census.

Hope this is helpful.

Not so easy if you dont  know the exact date. They will search different dates but they charge you also!!

Erin

The GRO charge € 2 for an unsucessful 5 year search. If they fo find your BMD then they charge € 6 for the 5 year search and the photocopy.
