Title: Baptism Lookup Please - Frome Vauchurch

Hi,

I was hoping someone might be able to help find a baptism for an Ann Bridle in the Frome Vauchurch area. She would have been born on the late 1680s or 1690s.

Any help would be much appreciated! :)

Have you searched www.dorset-opc.com?  Frome Vauchurch does not have any baptisms online but does have an online parish clerk, Ellis Miles, who might be able to help you.

There were two Ann Bridle baptisms in Frome Vauchurch in the 1690's

28.4.1691 daughter of William and Jane
or
8.5.1698 daughter of John and Ann

Sorry for the delay in replying. I haven't logged into Rootschat for a few months. Thanks for looking up those baptisms! I suspect the Ann Bridle who was the daughter of William & Jane may be my one because she's the older of the 2 and Ann's first daughter was called Jane. Do you know if William & Jane had any more children?

The 'Ann' is one of my ancestors, baptised in 1698. I'm trying to track down a Sarah Croft/ Craft/ Crofts who had an illegitmate child with a Benjamin Bridle in Frome Vauchurch in 1761 and ssems to disappear completely. Can anyone help?
