Title: Register of Corrected Entries Online
Post by: cilvrnum on Friday 27 July 07 20:22 BST (UK)
Scotland's  People has at last announced the release of RCE images online:

ScotlandsPeople is pleased to announce that RCE images are now available
for viewing online.

RCE stands for Register of Corrected Entries and since 1965, Register of
Corrections, Etc.

These may include amendments to birth, marriage and death records made
after the original event was recorded.

Please read the help on RCEs before viewing them. This is found at
http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/content/help/index.aspx?r=551&1314

Hi cilvrnum,

Scotlands People have as you say just announced they have RCE's images online but they have had them quite some time now, I found mine over a month ago, it took them long enough to announce it.

Seeing that I posted about the announcement, I have clicked on the link and found that it took me to Scotland's People's explanation about RCEs.

I am sorry if my post was untimely or that it has caused scepticism, but appreciate the purpose of every comment.
