Title: Buslingthorpe Lane, Leeds c 1860
Post by: jhope on Friday 27 July 07 18:12 BST (UK)
Please could someone with local knowledge tell me which would be the "local" Anglican church for a family living in Buslingthorpe Lane, Leeds around 1860 onwards.

Thanks very much!

Have a look at these 2 websites.  They may help you identify the church you are looking for.

Thanks very much Dee

This has been very helpful - but in particular  the link to the Leodis site. What a tremendous resource - I have just discovered a picture of the house my great great grandparents lived in on Buslingthorp Lane!

Thanks again

My ancestors also lived on Buslingthorpe Lane between 1860 and the turn of the century.  My GG Grandfather was a caretaker at Carr Mills and I believe they lived at 164.  Their name was Shaw.
