Hello, Could SKS please do a lookup for me and tell me if Edward QUIGLEY and wife Mary nee McGekey?(unsure of surname spelling) had any other children born in Victoria besides Mary Ann QUIGLEY who was born in 1872, Vic?

I would really appreciate any help. I havent been able to find a marriage for Edward QUIGLEY and Mary in either.

I would really LOVE to hear from anyone who descends from this family too. Mary Quigley b 1872 was my ggggrandmother and she married Frederick STAINSBY at Warrnambool in 1899. Thankyou in advance, Kind Regards, Mel

All with  father: Edward & mother Mary MCGHIE

Then there are these.....

John QUIGLEY born 1870 at WARR Ref: 12445
Father: Edward & Mother: Mary MACGUHY
 
Unnamed Female QUIGLEY born 1872 at WOOD ref: 27254
Father: Edward & Mother: Mary MAGUIGH

Hello.

I also have Quigley ancestors from Victoria.

Her name was Mary Quigley. She was born around 1832 in Co. Tipperary, Ireland to Patrick and Sarah Quigley.

She married Francis Kelly in Coburg, Melbourne and had three boys before moving up with them to the Wangaratta area were they went on to have eight more children.

She died in 1904.

I know this could be a totally different family but just wondered and you may have come across these Quigleys in your own searching...

I haven't got anything here on your Quigley's but if I come across anything I'll be sure to post it here.

From what I can gather our Quigleys were from different counties in Ireland so probably not connected. Your family from Tipperary and my earliest Edward Quigley bc 1850 from County Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

I am yet to find how Edward came to Victoria from Ireland.
