Painting of The Molyneux family of Hawkley Hall by A.Devis c.1750. (incorrectly titled the Molyneux Family of Sefton) (Private collection). "Sir Richard Molyneux, his wife Jane and his 3 children - Richard, Bryan William and William."
With reference to the Molyneux picture by Arthur Devis (1711-1787) - "The family portrait were not ancestors of the Earls of Sefton and were only remotly related to them. It shows Richard Molyneux of Hawkley, his wife Jane, his sons Richard, Bryan William and William; with Hawkley Hall showing in the background."
