Hello
Is anyone able to go into a library in Margate and look up someone from an electoral register please.
I am looking for someone from approximately 1926 to 1965, if anyone can help.
Many thanks

Hi Ewan
The main library in Margate is currently closed and I'm not sure what, if any, local studies material they have in the current temporary location (the old Marks & Spencer building in the High Street). Might it be worth emailing them ???

Hello Casalguidi
Thank you very much for that information. I have found out that the temporary location of the main library in Margate may have the electoral registers I am interested in. If they haven't (depending on what records are still located with them) they will have them at the end of this year.
So, if there is anyone that can still help with my plea, I would be so grateful, if you can help and you are local to Margate I will send the details.
Thanks in anticipation

Hi ,Foad Family,
I wonder if you would kindly check 3 families for me in Margate?
If so what information do you require ?
I would be very grateful for any information about their addresses in Margate.

I can help you with the 1881 Census for Margate and surrounding villages etc etc if you would like (or is it too early for your info) just let me know what you need.

Hello Claire
Thanks for the reply, it is a bit early the 1881 census, as the person that I am looking for was not born until 1884. I need to know where they lived and with whom between those years, especially the later ones. Thank you anyway for your offer.
